										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dynamics 365 users often ask whether they can synchronize Outlook and Dynamics 365. The answer to that is yes! This blog will help you configure the settings step by step.</p>
<p>Once you have configured it, you will be able to see all the activities in Dynamics 365, which is created in Outlook, and vice versa.</p>
<p>So, let’s start configuring Dynamics 365.</p>
<p><b>Step 1:</b> In Dynamics 365, go to Settings > Administration > System Settings.</p>

<p>Open the Synchronization tab in System Settings. Click on Synchronized Fields.</p>

<p><b>Step 2:</b> On clicking Synchronized Fields, it will open a pop-up that shows a list of entities.</p>

<p><b>Step 3:</b> Users can define the direction of synchronization of a particular entity with arrows, as shown in the below image.</p>

<p>Choose Entity Type as <b>Email</b> and you can see how Email synchronization is managed.</p>

<p><b>Note:</b> You cannot enable synchronization for Custom activity.</p>
<p><b>Step 4:</b> Now, to make synchronization functional, let us configure the mailbox of the user. Navigate from Settings to Email Configuration and open Mailboxes.</p>

<p>It will show a mailbox for the user, as shown in the below image. Let’s configure it.</p>

<p><b>Step 5:</b> Open the mailbox of the user. Firstly, Click on <b>Approve Email</b> as shown in the image. Then, click on <b>Test and Enable Mailbox</b>. Now set <b>Server-Side Synchronization</b> for <b>Appointments, Contacts, and Tasks</b>.</p>

<p><b>Step 6:</b> Let us create one appointment record from Dynamics 365 to view it on Outlook. Enter the <b>Subject</b> and <b>Regarding</b> for the appointment.</p>

<p>You can see the Test appointment in Outlook.</p>

<p>The Test appointment will also be visible in Calendar 365.</p>

<p><b>Step 7:</b> Let&#8217;s update appointments from Outlook. For instance, we have updated the subject of the appointment from <b>Test</b> to <b>Meeting with Samuel</b>.</p>

<p>After some time, changes will be reflected in Dynamics 365.</p>

<p>In this blog we will demonstrate how to embed a basic HTML page into a Dynamics 365 form. Follow the below steps.</p>
<h2>Step 1: Navigate to Components Settings Page</h2>
<p>Click on <strong>Settings ➤ Advanced Settings ➤ Settings Area(Drop down) ➤ Customizations ➤ Customize the System</strong> you will land on the <strong>Components Settings</strong> page.</p>
<p>On landing the <strong>Components Settings</strong> page, navigate to the <strong>Entities ➤ Accounts ➤ Forms</strong>. Here, you can see the list of active forms. Here we have to add a new form and by following the below steps, you can do the same.</p>

<h2>Step 2: Add the HTML page to the Dynamics 365</h2>
<p>Create a simple HTML page and add it as a <strong>Web Resource</strong> to Dynamics 365. Be sure to select <strong>Webpage (HTML)</strong> as the type and upload the HTML page by clicking the <strong>Browse</strong> button. Once you upload the web resource, you can <strong>Save</strong> and <strong>Publish</strong> it. Next you have to add it to the Account form.</p>

<p>Enter the <strong>Name, Display Name, Description, Webpage (HTML)</strong> as <strong>Type, Language, Upload File, URL</strong>, and <strong>Checkmark to Enable for mobile</strong>.</p>
<p>After entering the information, click on the Save button to save the information.</p>
<h2>Step 3: Adding Web Resource</h2>
<p>Now in the <strong>Components Settings</strong> page, navigate to the <strong>Entities ➤ Account ➤ Form</strong>, and open any account for which you need to embed the HTML web resource. Now add a new <strong>Web Resource</strong> from the <strong>Insert</strong> tab.</p>

<p>Select your <strong>Web Resource</strong> whichever you want to open in Account entity form. Enter the Field Name, Properties, and Visibility.</p>

<p>Refresh your <strong>Account</strong> form and the HTML page will appear.</p>

<p>In Dynamics 365, you can use the fetchXML query in the web API to retrieve specific data. With the help of advanced find feature, you can carry out querying easily.</p>
<p>You need to follow below steps to create the fetchXML Query.</p>
<h2>Step 1: Open Advanced Find</h2>
<p>Firstly you have to login to your account and then click on the <strong>Advanced Find</strong> button (funnel icon) in the upper right-hand corner.</p>

<p>Then click on a <strong>New</strong> button at the top under <strong>Advanced Find</strong> section to create a query.</p>

<p>Then select the field on which you want to perform a query.</p>
<p>Here, we want to find a name that has an age above 25.</p>
