You need backend configurations but still, you need to navigate to the different options.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAppJetty MappyField 365\u201d is an MS DynamicsCRM mapping app with the Bing maps integration that will help to search the Routes between clients\u2019 locations quickly from the map itself. Hence, you will not require to navigate to the different options for getting the Routes.<\/p>\n<p>MappyField 365&#8217;s Route scheduling option allows the Sales Reps or Service Executives to make optimum use of the time. So they can make the decision to reach out to another client&#8217;s place quickly scheduling the Routes and easily manage their time for traveling and cover all places which they want to meet.<\/p>\n<p><i>Suppose \u201cBianca\u201d, a Sales Executive who is on the field for a product demo, needs to schedule her product demo with clients. So from the map of the MappyField 365, she can easily search the Routes between the client\u2019s locations just on the go by adding the records to the Route search option.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>From \u201cMappyField 365\u201d, you can schedule the routes between more than two records\/locations and also customize the order as per your need. MappyField 365 users can search the Route in 3- different ways:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet\">\n<li><b>Context Menu:<\/b> Right-clicking on the specific location Context Menu<\/li>\n<li><b>Records (Pushpins):<\/b> Clicking on the required record (pushpin)<\/li>\n<li><b>Data Grid:<\/b> Selecting the required records from the Data Grid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In this informative blog, we will explain how to schedule the Routes between the locations.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_1_Navigate_to_MappyField_365\"><\/span>Step 1: Navigate to MappyField 365<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Select \u201cMappyField 365\u201d from the Dynamics 365 dashboard or app list.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/MappyField-365-Dynamics-365-dashboard.png\" alt=\"MappyField 365 Dynamics 365 dashboard\" \/><\/p>\n<p>By default, you will be navigated to the \u201cMap view\u201d of the MappyField 365 with all the default configurations.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/MappyField-365-Map-view.png\" alt=\"MappyField 365 Map view\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_2_Plot_entity_records_on_the_map\"><\/span>Step 2: Plot entity records on the map<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Click on the \u201cPlot\u201d menu from where you can select the Entity with its view and click on the \u201cSearch\u201d button to plot the records on the map.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Plot-entity-records-on-the-map.png\" alt=\"Plot entity records on the map\" \/><\/p>\n<p>By clicking on the Search button, the entity records will plot on the map with the pushpins.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Plot-entity-records-on-the-map-02.png\" alt=\"Plot entity records on the map-02\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_3_Add_required_records_to_Route\"><\/span>Step 3: Add required records to Route<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can easily add the required records or specific locations in different 3-ways:<\/p>\n<p>3.1 &#8211; By right-clicking on the specific area<\/p>\n<p>3.2 &#8211; By clicking on the plotted records (pushpins)<\/p>\n<p>3.3 &#8211; From the Data Grid<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"31_By_right-clicking_on_the_specific_area\"><\/span>3.1: By right-clicking on the specific area<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Right-click on the specific area, the \u201cContext menu\u201d will open and you will get the \u201cAdd To Route&#8221; option.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/right-clicking-on-the-specific-area.png\" alt=\"right-clicking on the specific area\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click on the \u201cAdd To Route\u201d option to add the desired location to the Route. You will get the mark \u201cA\u201d on that location.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, you can select another location and by right-clicking on it, you can add that location to the Route search.<\/p>\n<p>You can check the added routes under the \u201cRoutes\u201d menu.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/added-routes.png\" alt=\"added routes\" \/><\/p>\n<p>By clicking on the \u201cGo\u201d button, the Route will be added to the map, and from the right side, you will get the details of the direction with the traffic details.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/added-routes-02.png\" alt=\"added routes-02\" \/><\/p>\n<p><i>A sales executive, Bianca can add the specific locations to the routes and schedule her activities\/meetings based on the Route on the map.<\/i><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"32_Add_required_records_pushpins\"><\/span>3.2: Add required records (pushpins)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>You can search the route between two clients\u2019 locations. You can easily add the specific records to the Routes and get the direction on the map.<\/p>\n<p>By clicking on the record (pushpin) that you want to add to the Route search, you will get the \u201cdetailed card\u201d on the right side. You will find the options to perform some actions and activities from the detailed card.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Add-required-records-pushpins.png\" alt=\"Add required records pushpins\" \/><\/p>\n<p>By clicking on the \u201cDirections\u201d dropdown, you will get the \u201cAdd To Origin\u201d and \u201cAdd To Destination\u201d options.<\/p>\n<p>Click on the \u201cAdd To Origin\u201d options from where to start your traveling (client visits). It will be displayed with the mark \u201cA\u201d, which means starting point.<\/p>\n<p>Click on the \u201cAdd To Destination\u201d option for another record to add to the Route.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Add-required-records-pushpins-02.png\" alt=\"Add required records pushpins-02\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Another record will be marked as \u201cB\u201d. Now, click on the \u201cRoutes\u201d menu to get the direction between the added Routes.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Add-required-records-pushpins-03.png\" alt=\"Add required records pushpins-03\" \/><\/p>\n<p>By clicking on the \u201cGo\u201d button, the direction will be set on the map between two records.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Add-required-records-pushpins-04.png\" alt=\"Add required records pushpins-04\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You will get the details of the direction with the traffic details on the right side.<\/p>\n<p><i>In this way, Bianca can add the clients\u2019 locations to the Routes and can get the direction between them.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>You can also add more than two records to the Route search. Click on the Record. The details card of that record will open on the right side.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Add-required-records-pushpins-05.png\" alt=\"Add required records pushpins-05\" \/><\/p>\n<p>From the \u201cDirection\u201d dropdown, click on the \u201cAdd to Destination\u201d option to add the 3rd record to the Route search and it will be marked as \u201cC\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>You can see the selected record details under the \u201cRoutes\u201d menu. You can also change the route orders by using mouse drag &amp; drop.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Add-required-records-pushpins-06.png\" alt=\"Add required records pushpins-06\" \/><\/p>\n<p>By clicking on the \u201cGo\u201d the direction will be added on the map for the added routes. The direction will be added as per the SPF algorithm (Shortest Path First).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Add-required-records-pushpins-07.png\" alt=\"Add required records pushpins-07\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You will get the details of the direction with the traffic details on the right side.<\/p>\n<p><i>In this way, Bianca can add the new client meeting in her route just on the go from the map itself.<\/i><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"33_From_the_Data_Grid\"><\/span>3.3: From the Data Grid<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>You can also add the record to the Route from the \u201cData Grid\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Data-Grid.png\" alt=\"Data Grid\" \/><\/p>\n<p>By clicking on the \u201cShow Data\u201d, you will get the details of the plotted entity records on the map in the grid view with other action options.<\/p>\n<p>From the Grid view, you will get the column-wise details. So it will be quite easy to check and select the required records that you want to add to the Route. You will get the numerics of the selected records at the bottom.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.appjetty.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/clicking-on-the-Show-Data.png\" alt=\"clicking on the Show Data\" \/><\/p>\n<p>By clicking on the \u201cRoute\u201d icon, the records will be added to the route.
