Magento is one of the most dynamically evolving ecommerce platforms. And the experts working with this technology bring new ideas on table each day. These ideas motivate Magento enthusiasts and others to contribute towards the technology. To propel these ideas further, Wagento, a company based in Ahmedabad organized an event named \u201cMeet Magento.\u201d<\/p>\n

The conference took place on 6th and 7th January at Courtyard by Marriott \u2013 one of the most luxurious business hotel chains based in Ahmedabad, India. AppJetty being a frontrunner in offering Magento based ecommerce solutions also had the privilege to be a part of Meet Magento Conference.<\/p>\n

The first day commenced with an extraordinarily informative session. Several Magento leaders, mentors and experts presented their views on business cases, Magento eCommerce solutions and marketing strategies. For AppJetty developers, it was a splendid way to connect with Magento Experts, learn new concepts from them and explore fresh ideas to expand their horizons.<\/p>\n

Vinai Kopp, the author of the Magento 1 developer book, \u201cGrokking Magento\u201d led a session on writing codes in Magento and fascinated the audience through his live coding skills. Vijay Golani, a Magento U authorized trainer and the VP of development at Wagento also shared some important insights on Magento 1<\/a><\/strong> and 2 platforms, latest technologies, and industry innovations.<\/p>\n

The second day, (7th January) was the Contribution Day which asked for active participation from the upcoming and experienced Magento Developers. Magento Community Engineering Team led the session and encouraged developers to work together in contributing to the Magento 2 core. They also received several insights about Magento 2<\/a><\/strong> diagnostics. The AppJetty developers worked alongside David Manners and Eugene Shakhsuvarov, the Magento Stalwarts and made significant contributions in resolving the queries.<\/p>\n

AppJetty’s Contribution to the Magento Core<\/h3>\n

During the course of “Community Engineering” with Magento Core experts, AppJetty\u2019s developers had picked an issue which was listed on the \u201cIssues\u201d board by the community experts automation system. Eventually, we found the solution to the problem and submitted our code via pull request to the core team. One of the Magento core team members reviewed the issue and on the completion of successful testing, the team approved our merge request.<\/p>\n

It is a matter of pride for AppJetty that Magento Core Team will implement our code as the fix of the issue listed on the \u201cIssues\u201d board. These changes will be implemented in the upcoming Magento Community edition. We had an out and out gala time at the event and we hope to make significant contributions in the Magento Ecommerce World.
